Dear Friend and Language Learner,
Let's admit it. Language learning can be slow and painful.

Thirdly, you must base your language learning activities on your personal learning styles, for maximum effect. The practical activities that work great for your friend might not work for you.
Fourthly, you've got to have the very best computer software around. Multimedia computers have really revolutionized language learning the last few years. But be sure you buy what really works. I've personally tested lots of different software programs, CD-courses and other learning materials. And a lot of them are overpriced, too complicated, boring, or simply don't work.
